Kullect Voted Best Startup at Where 2.0
This week marked a milestone for Kullect as we were officially recognized at the Where 2012 Conference (hosted by O’Reilly) where we were voted best new startup! While we’ve been to conferences as participants, we’ve never had the opportunity to present our product in such a large forum, so this was a big moment for us. And, not only did we present, but we did so to resounding enthusiasm and positive feedback.
The first day of the conference was the Startup Showcase during which we manned a booth and talked about Kullect in the Exhibit Hall. Attendees voted for the best new startup and we won, giving us the opportunity to present Kullect onstage the following day during the keynote talks.
Besides the obvious thrill of being recognized for our work, we also got to meet some great people who share our passion for mobile technology’s potential to shape the world we live in. We were inspired by others at the conference as well - we especially liked the talk by Sim’s creator Will Wright.
Great conference, great experience, and great to get a little pat on the back! Thank you to anyone and everyone who voted.
